Band Rider

Thanks for your interest in The Velvet Notes performing at your event. To ensure a successful performance, we kindly ask that you review the rider requirements below and make the necessary provisions.

Hospitality

Catering

The band require food provision whilst at your event. Please provide a hot meal for every 5 hours they are on site. The type of food provided is your call, but we will require for you to confirm the details and timings with a member of our team prior to your event date. In addition, a generous supply of still water, hot drink provisions and non-alcoholic beverages is expected throughout the band’s time at the event.

Green Room

Please provide a private and secure green room (dressing room) that can accommodate 10 people. It should have sufficient space for the Band members to change and prepare for their performance with privacy. They will also use this space to rest between sets and also store their bags and personal belongings.

Technical

Power & Staging

Ensure a reliable power supply within close proximity to the band’s performance space, with a minimum of 2 x mains power sockets. For any staging provisions, please ensure that it is safely and professionally constructed, with adequate access (steps or height) for the band members to mount and dismount with ease.

PA & Backline

The Velvet Notes’ Technical Rider is to be supplied by a reputable and established production company. The preferred supplier is JAWH Productions (as they often work with the band, know all of their requirements and offer very competitive rates exclusively for The Velvet Notes’ customers), but you may use another company if necessary. When using JAWH to make these provisions, our event team will manage the booking, rider facilitation and logistics on your behalf, but booking and invoices will be sent to you directly. Please note that pricing is dependent on the service booked, but starts from £1500. Please request further information should you wish to proceed or require a copy of the rider document.

Lighting

As part of the Tech Rider, JAWH Productions can also provide lighting. Lighting package pricing starts from £595. Please request further information should you wish to know more about the lighting options or require spec documents.
