Band Rider
Thanks for your interest in Velvet Notes performing at your event. To ensure a successful performance, we kindly ask that you review the rider requirements below and make the necessary provisions.
Catering
Catering is a standard requirement for Velvet Notes time at your event. Please provide a hot meal for each band member for every five hours they are on site. The choice of meal is at your discretion; however, we request that details of the menu and serving times to be confirmed to a member of our team, by email, prior to the event date. In addition, a generous supply of still water, hot beverages, and non-alcoholic drinks should be available for the team, in their green room, throughout their time at the event.
Green Room
Please provide a private and secure green room (dressing room) suitable for up to 10 people. The room should offer sufficient space for band members to change and prepare for their performance in comfort and privacy. It will also be used as a rest area between sets and for the secure storage of bags, equipment, and personal belongings.
Power & Staging
Ensure a reliable power supply within close proximity to the band’s performance space, with a minimum of 2 x mains power sockets. For any staging provisions, ensure that it is safely and professionally constructed, with adequate access (steps or height) for the band members to mount and dismount with ease.
PA & Backline
A technical rider document is available upon request and outlines the production requirements necessary for a Velvet Notes performance. This includes details of the required PA system, backline equipment, staging specifications, and other technical considerations to ensure the highest standard of performance. Depending on the event and venue, the rider may also specify the provision of a dedicated Front of House sound engineer to oversee audio production during the performance. Lighting
As part of the technical rider, Velvet Notes can provide a basic lighting package, which typically includes two static wash lights to illuminate the performers’ faces and ensure good visibility for guests. Coloured or stylistic lighting effects, staging, and other production elements. Please request further information if you would like to discuss available options or require technical specifications.
